Toppidrettsutøverliste

Toppidrettsutøverlisten er fastsatt på bakgrunn av risiko for dopingbruk i den enkelte idrett, nivået på utøverne internasjonalt og omfanget av idretten i Norge.

Verdens antidopingbyrå (WADA) har fra 1. januar 2015 fastsatt et nytt antidopingregelverk som gjelder for idrettsutøvere over hele verden. Det nye regelverket legger til grunn at det skal foretas en risikovurdering av idrettsgrener og utøvergrupper. Toppidrettsutøverlisten er derfor fastsatt på bakgrunn av risiko for dopingbruk i den enkelte idrett, nivået på utøverne internasjonalt og omfanget av idretten i Norge. Toppidrettsutøverlisten definerer for norsk idrett det WADAs regelverk anser som «national level athlete» og «international level athletes».

Ved behov for bruk av legemidler, skal alle som omfattes av toppidrettsutøverlisten umiddelbart søke om medisinsk fritak for alle stoffer som fremgår av dopinglisten. For dopingprøver tatt av utøvere definert som toppidrettsutøvere, er det også satt minimumskrav for antall prøver som skal analyseres for stoffer som for eksempel EPO og veksthormon.

Med deltagere på landslag/landslagsgrupper omfattes alle utøvere som er med i et fast definert landslag og/eller utøvere som deltar/har deltatt på samlinger, treninger, turneringer, konkurranser og andre aktiviteter i regi av det aktuelle landslaget innen de siste 12 måneder.
