Collaboration with National Anti-Doping Organisations (NADO)
Anti-Doping Norway has long experience with bi- and multilateral agreements and believes there is great benefit to draw out of such co-operations.
Well-established anti-doping organisations have a duty to contribute to the further development of quality anti-doping programmes throughout the world. Anti-Doping Norway has been part of several bilateral agreements, currently with Turkey and Kenya. The purpose is to develop anti-doping programmes in compliance with the Code. When relevant, WADA has also been part of the agreement, playing an important role in monitoring the project.
Based on a strong collaboration that goes back to the ‘80s, Anti-Doping Norway was very pleased to sign a new agreement with China Anti-Doping Agency in May 2017, where both Parties agree to collaborate on various aspects of the anti-doping programme, also in view of the upcoming 2020 Winter Olympic Games in China.
Anti-Doping Norway has a reciprocal testing agreement with NADOs in the following countries:
- South Africa
- New Zealand
