Niggli: - It's not just a sports problem

The Director General of WADA was the first presenter on the second day of the International Conference Doping and Public Health. During his presentation, Niggli underlined the importance of research and to craft and design programmes that resonnates with athletes and young people.

40 nations are represented at this weeks International Conference in Oslo. Niggli has a clear message for those present. 

- I think it's important that governments realize that it's not just a sports problem, but a public health problem that requires an investment which is now in proportion to the issue they are facing, says Niggli.
